I had the distinct pleasure of being a part of the VIP opening on Saturday night and much to my surprise, everything I had was beyond delicious. Oviedo has had a long running vacancy of upscale places to enjoy a beautiful dinner and a unique cocktail. I’m excited that Marlow’s Tavern has decided that Oviedo is a great place for just that.
There are too many items to mention, so I’m just going to cover my absolute favorites from that evening. The crab and shrimp nachos won my heart, along with the cheesy grits, the ahi-poke and the filet mignon. The drinks were out of this world- and unique, which I love. A twist on the standard mojito, the blackberry mojito, was perfect and not overly sweet. The new fashion looked amazing, but isn’t my style. And hands down, my favorite drink was the Blueberry Buck. It’s their take on a Moscow mule.
I guess my favorite part of it all, is the fact that they have happy hour specials from 4-7pm – every night, including weekends. That’s incredible and also rare. Thank you Marlow’s Tavern for choosing Oviedo as your new home. You won’t be disappointed.
