As many of you know, the Oviedo location of Texas Roadhouse had their soft opening this weekend. But how many of you knew that they created 180 jobs? Well their official grand opening is Monday Sept. 19, and below is the press release from last week explaining about the special festivities and charitable donations. In addition to having great food at affordable prices, their service is topnotch. I will also add that they have spectacular specials known as their early dine menu, available Monday-Thursday until 6pm, with their best selling entrees priced at $8.99.

Texas Roadhouse Brings 180 New Jobs to Oviedo
Oviedo, FL – (September 12, 2016) – Oviedo’s first Texas Roadhouse location opens Monday, September 19 and before the first guest walks in the door the restaurant is rolling out the red, white and blue carpet for several local organizations. This week, as the restaurant trains new cooks, meat cutters and other kitchen team members, local pediatric cancer patients, firefighters, police officers, Army recruiting personnel, and employees at the Department of Transportation and the Oviedo Park District will be the first to try the restaurant’s legendary hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs and made-from-scratch sides.
On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant will host invitation-only pre-opening events and raise money for the Pet Rescue by Judy and BASE Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation.
“As the proud owner of two rescues, I have deep appreciation for Pet Rescue by Judy’s dedication to helping distressed animals.” says Desmond Yates, Managing Partner. “When we learned about BASE camp and what it does to help these juvenile cancer patients and their families during the most difficult time in their lives my team and I decided we wanted to help. Featuring them during our Friends and Family night will help bring awareness to an organization. We are proud to support both of these amazing charities and can’t imagine a more meaningful way to celebrate our opening.”
