The proposed streets you will be allowed to use your golf cart on.

In case you missed the news, the City of Oviedo is now allowing golf carts to be registered to drive on city streets.

Golf carts can ONLY be driven on roads that are 30 MPH or less and will not be allowed to be driven along any state or county roadway.  Golf cart drivers will be allowed to cross those roads at signalized intersections where signs are in place.

Drivers must have a valid driver’s license, and the carts must be registered and insured. Anyone with a learner’s permit must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

The golf carts must be registered with the city and there is a $30 fee to register them.  Please fill out THIS FORM and bring it with you to pay in person at the City’s Utility Department, in the Annex Building at 320 Alexandria Blvd.
